Can I file for Earned Income Credit if my disabled child supports himself with Social Security Disability?

My son is 100% disabled. His only income is from Social Security Disability. We can not claim him as a dependent because we can't provide more then half of his support.

Possibly yes, if he meets all of the other tests to be a qualifying child under IRC 152, except for 1(d) the test to provide more than 50% of his own support, then is a qualifying child for EIC. per IRC 32(c)(3).
