I cannot open 2021 version of Pro-Series, says trouble verifying. Never problem before. I am currently using 2023 and 2022 with no problems.

Verifying what? I think theres more to the message, does it say Validate Online Credentials?
Yes, it says:
Unable to validate your online credentials: Please try again later
