I don't use ProSeries, but with other software I use that has this "feature", the text comes instantly. No waiting.

I think it means the first time you login in each day, so it should be only once per day. At least I hope so.

Notice says every time you log in

Notice says you will need a text the initial login on any computer.  Not every time.
