What's going on with e-filing?

January 28th is when you can efile.

my friends with Drake can already submit their e-files to Drake.  in prior years we could do the same with Proseries.  so what has changed and why?

Drake is using some of it's customer's clients as guinea pigs, ProSeries is not.  It's been that way for awhile so I don't think anything has changed.

As IRMN said, in prior years ProSeries has NOT accepted Federal returns before the official IRS opening date.  So nothing has changed.

Other cheapo software accepts efilesd but doesn't send them to the IRS since they're not accepted yet. Happens every year.
