Hello,
I have noticed a difference in Massachusetts filings between 2023 and 2024, that you are not able to efile a corporation without putting in the bank acct, and supposedly Proseries will pay the Corporation excise tax for the Massachusetts extension.
This has been a problem for some time now as Massachusetts Dept of Revenue is a mess to say the least and was not processing the payments from proseries for prior years. Last year I trained all my corporations to pay the Massachusetts DOR on thier website to make sure it was paid.
With the above situation, has proseries worked out a system where massachusetts actually gets paid and is there a way around the issue if the corporation has paid Mass DOR on thier own, that will allow us to efile in Massachusetts.
I do not think that saving a Massachusetts bank account in Proseries is a good idea as an Attorney as well.
