I had a client ask why we cannot send an email link for each of the married couple parties.
They have to cooperate if they both must use the same email to upload, what if they don't want their spouse to have access to their email?

I'm assuming you're using IntuitLink.
One of them might setup a gmail account. Then you could treat them as MFS or Single. Sounds like they're on track for one of those filing statuses.
If they can't cooperate with you, I'd refer them to H&R Block
If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround
