Making a PDF file after trying to open a 2017 1040 form in 2020

ProSeries cannot open this return because it contains data for the following product module(s) that are not installed.  To install the missing product module(s), go to the ProSeries 'Update' menu, and choose 'Select and Download New Products'. 

1. PROSERIES_BASIC/1040

I tried to do as was "told" here and nothing would update!  HELP.  Customer needs a copy of her 2017 and I can't open it.

Try using REFRESH Updates...its at the bottom of the Updates drop down menu....oh wait...2017 may not have had the refresh option available.

If 2017 wont open at all, you may need to uninstall/reinstall.
