LIFETIME LEARNING CREDIT

Hi,

I have a 22 years old client. She has w2 income of 7000 and 1099 income of 6000. She has 1098-t with boxes 8 and 9 checked off (masters) with tuition payment of $28000. Proseries is not showing any credit. Did i do anything wrong?

That credit is nonrefundable.

With that level of income there is no tax, hence no lifetime learning credit against the tax?
