But the earliest returns are always the cream of the crop. Tough luck for those Turds, I mean Turdotaxers.

IRS having issues or is it on TT/Intuit end?
The IRS Hub or BETA testing runs from 1/15 thru 1/18/19 this year and most all software, except Intuit, participates. I haven't heard or seen any horror stories involving other Professional software but TurdoTax is at the mercy of the individual entering the data & is subject to many rejected returns.
Personally, I didn't submit any returns early this year for obvious reasons, "Tax Reform". Not putting any of my clients in the guinea pig option.
Looks like preparers are just ranting and raving 🙂 . I was going to ask if there was any other solution (than filing a paper return) for a name/SSN mismatch. I have verified the accuracy with an enclosed 1099-SSA and by entering a phony W2 on BSO online (which I will delete). I'm using 2019 Proseries.
