Is there a way to transfer data from last year to this year, after the extension has been filed?

Saw this posted and answered already but cannot access the attachment referenced in the "best answer". Can anyone provide this?

You can transfer last year's data, but you will lose any information that you have already loaded in for the extension.  But if you transferred last year's data prior to doing the extension, don't you already have that information in the client's data file?
