is MA pd fam leave taxable to fed & state. received f1099-G

form 1099-G box 1 shows $8943 as pd fam med leave ben.  is this taxable to fed & state?  how is it

reported?  thx for your help.

I believe it is taxable to federal, but you have to check your state. Report as other income
