Has anyone had a problem being able to receive a phone call for the two factor authentication and thus not able to log on to the software? I have had this problem all day and when I called Proseries, they said there has been a problem with a few phone companies (mine is Comcast) and that the problem will "hopefully" be fixed in 24-48 hours. I mean who has 24-48 hours during this time of year to wait to log on to work?
Ive seen some people say they have to power off their phone and restart it, then the texts will show up.....Im so sick of all the technological glitches, I could scream!
Sadly it is a landline phone so it is a call. Wish I could power off my phone. I cannot agree more with you regarding the technological glitches. And it's a bit frustrating that they know there is this issue--do you think they could do blast emails with situations like this?

The only thing Intuit thinks about is profits and stock prices. There is no way they will be publicly announcing their program errors.
I’ve always clicked No when offered to sign up for PS MFA….. nope… ain’t gonna do it…
I spend 1/2 the day logging into dozens of protected sites with MFA email, text, phone, authenticator apps, and passkeys….the other 1/2 is spent fighting with 3rd world help desks that require voice recognition apps to transcribe the unrecognizable version of English they speak.
Time to retell the story of Jules, one of the IRS supervisors who ran the IRS intern classes at National Office back in the late 70s. He was known for clipping his toenails while lecturing on management theory. One of his favorite topics was why Service Centers had 6-foot chain link fences built around them. Was it to discourage the "casual bomber"? After an hour's discussion, his answer was: It was not for security. It was to create the appearance of security.
If someone's 84-year-old mother can be hijacked from her home in the middle of the night, do you really think your computer is safe? Do you think a daily phone call is sufficient to protect it from the "casual hacker" ?
