I need the non-resident state interest to be added to my state return.
The Interest smart worksheet when I separate the state vs all non resident states don't flow to Ohio
The Dividend smart worksheet only offers one state code.

If you have more than one state, you need the second Dividend entry worksheet.
On the interest or dividend line on Sch B worksheet, double click to get the Additional lnfo W/s.
IE, if you have TE int or TE divs from the same payer, and some are tax exempt for your home state and some are not, in Pro Series you will need TWO ENTRY LINES, one for the home state and one for the others. One will have the state code OH for those TE in OH, and will have any other state code if OH is the home state. You can also use XX as the state code for all states except the home state.
Let's say you have NY TE interest but you live in OH. Enter the TE interest in box 8, but use NY or ANYTHING other than OH to keep it federally TE but taxed in OH.
This is the same for TE divs but you need the Div Additional lnfo W/s and two separate lines on the Div Inc Smart W/s.

If you click on the name of the payer, the worksheet will allow you to choose the correct state name.
