I have a dual citizenship client with Canada and USA. Tax home is in Canada. We file form 8939 along with form 1040. Do we also need to file the FBAR form 114?
I have a dual citizenship client with Canada and USA. Tax home is in Canada. We file form 8939 along with form 1040. Do we also need to file the FBAR form 114?
If you are required to file form 8939 then almost certainly you would be required to file an FBAR.
