I have a client who worked in 12 states, it appears as if the software will only let me efile up to 4 states, does anyone know if this is true?

What makes you come to that conclusion it only lets you file 4 states?  Is it an error message or something?

for some reason it wasn't letting me add more states but I exited the return and went back to it and then it let me add all 12 states

I don't know the exact number, but yeah there is some kind of cutoff on the number of states that you can e-file.
