I can no longer see the Federal or State refund/balance due when I am in the return. I used to see it in the bottom right corner of my screen while in the return.

In Proseries Professional (that you chose as your Product) it appears in the top right corner, not the bottom.

If you want to view it in the lower right corner you have to have the Status Bar selection checked in the view menu. 

If you want to view it in the upper right corner with the red and white color coding you need to check Refund Monitor in the view menu.

I guess I dont know what a status bar is, I only see it on the top.
