Getting error while installing ProSeries 2018 saying, "the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer".

I got this error on my Windows 8.1. Is there any quick suggestion to fix this 'api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing' error?

That's a Windows .dll file.

If you google     api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll      you'll find lots of pages explaining how to fix it when that file is missing.

Lisa is correct. If you’re not technically inclined ask your IT person or Intuit tech support should be able to help

@Just-Lisa-Now- Thanks for your suggestion. With a google search, I found a DLL site's link: https://dlldownloads.com/api-ms-win-crt-heap-l1-1-0-dll/ I downloaded this file and replaced the older one with the new one, and my problem was solved. Thanks once again.
