FYI, the 2018 software has an error on F8815, line 10

Line 10 is for the beginning of the phase out for the exclusion of US bond interest. The instructions say $79,550 & $119,300, but the amount says $78,150/$117,250, the 2017 amounts.

Tell the programmers.

Nope, what version? I just updated and it's still 2017's amount. Mine says wPro.2018.05.00.21, but it also says to re-install since "unable to find version.dat."

FYI, also used separate Update PS program, not inside the tax software, to check on updates. Not corrected yet.

FYI, last comment on this FOR NOW, but on laptop at home, hasn't been touched in several days. Version is 5.00.21. Opened 8815, amount on line of description says $79,550, amount in box is 2017's $78,150. Closed file, updated from HB menu. There was an update downloaded and installed. No change in amount.

Closed PS. Updated from PS Update in start menu, from outside the software. Opened PS and file. Amount is still wrong in the box. $78,150 for Single.

There was an update issue in 2016(I think), but this was resolved by updating from outside the software. Rebooting didn't help.

did a test return, and the amount came up with $78,150 in box on mine also. hopefully it will be fixed

I was thinking that you hadn't tried to calculate the form before this. The amount in the description is correct, but the amount in the calculations is wrong. Thanks for proving me not crazy(on this issue anyway).
