Form 8915-E

I am completing my first Form 8915-E within Proseries.

There is a check box in Part 1 which instructs "For Coronavirus, check this box."  

This may be a silly question, but how does one "check the box" without using the override button.

This will happen automatically when the appropriate boxes are checked on the 1099R worksheet

Find the Qualified Disaster Distribution Smart Worksheet within the 1099R worksheet  - check boxes for your taxpayers situation - then go to the 8915-E

Use the Qualified Disaster Distribution Smart Worksheet on the 1099R of the distribution to feed the entries to the form 8915-E.
