I had to recreate a return (my own stupidity- accidentally saving a file over this one)
Thankfully I had printed some pages before my mistake.
Form 6251 AMT line 25 does not carry over the HOH amount of $523050 - the line is blank on the right. So it’s calculating AMT, it didn’t the first time I did the return. I have a printout showing the HOH amount in line 25 $523050
I've tried overriding it but I get a message saying not to do that when efiling. Can I still do that?? Or will it trigger the return with the IRS?
Am i doing something wrong? Do I need to mark a box somewhere else?
