I have another issue - that K-1 update mid-season is ridiculous - codes are all screwed up - the follow through to the tax return is screwed up - I keep updating hoping it fixes but no luck yet. And it will not accept overrides I tried that and got an error. Return passed review but rejected e-file. I am about ready to have client mail it in.
I have checked all incomes, codes and cannot see where the "sum" is wrong. There was a miscalculation on adding the line 8 a-h on schedule one it was doubling the amount but I remedied that, resubmitted and it still was rejected.
Is there anyone who can help? I have asked client and the firm that prepared the K-1 - they had no idea.
This year for 2023 tax prep, has been the worst software version I've ever dealt with! And seems to be highly agreed on in this community!
