Does anyone know how Pro Series works when there are more than three years to carry back? Or maybe it cannot handle it at all. If anyone has done this please let me know.
Thanks

answer questions on form 1045, and when you get to line 10 you start with the earliest year you want to begin with (max 5 years) page 1 has 3 columns, then go to page two which has three more years. You should research the instructions for the 2019 1045 to see how to compute the amount to use in each column
That answer is not correct, page two is a continuation of page one it starts with line 20, not line 10.
I appreciate you looking into it but the program cannot handle it. They just copy the IRS form which only has three columns.
Sorry about that, haven't had to use 1045 in several years, but when you have form 1045 open if you hit the F1 key the help screen opens up and explains how to go back more than three years
Hitting the F1 key does not bring up anything.
