Answered: Efiling the wrong returns by mistake

I am efiled the wrong file, how do I correct this?

Great to have you in the community. There is no way to stop the return once it has been e-filed. If the return is rejected, finish it and then send it again. If it is accepted, it would have to be amended if it was not complete when sent.

ALWAYS leave an empty box somewhere on the return until right before you're ready to file!

You will never be able to E-file the wrong return.
