That shouldn't be a problem.

OOPS! the EFIN has not been registered to your account! Please verify your EFIN with us.
You have to have your EFIN vetted by Intuit.
EFIN is issued by the IRS. To use it with the Intuit products, the company has to verify it, and that's why you'd need to register your EFIN with Intuit.
Similarly, your driver's license is issued by DMV. To get a drink, you'd need to show it to the bartender. Unless you look as old as @IRonMaN .
Or, as ugly as me.
But you are just a mere nose job away from becoming un-ugly.
As a side note, I could pass for being 240 instead of my actual age of 250 years old.
Then, I guess a nose job won't help you.
I filed 45 2021 returns this year, so i am wondering if because i was only issued my EFIN as of 2022, I cannot process a 2020 return.
Did you efile those 2021 tax returns?
Have you updated your license for the 2020 software?
i am not sure how to do that
