Hello
There was an efile status website where you could check is a return that was efiled had been accpeted.
The link I bookmarked to that website is no longer working. Can anyone provide the new link or is the website gone for good?
Your software will tell you if its been accepted or not, if youre looking for processing updates, the only place I know of is the IRS Where's My Refund website.
ok
i was aksing about the site in the image
the same answer regardless
I don't know what that link is, Ive never used/seen it before.
Hi @thetaxdoctor If you are a ProSeries user, you are able to check the status of a return in MyAccount:
thats what I always saw before and now I don't see it
@Kathi_at_Intuit We think he is a ProConnect user.
this is what I see, I have the ProSeries program
Hi @thetaxdoctor Thanks for confirming you are a ProSeries user. There are two things that we can think of that would cause this:
1. The wrong login for the MyAccount site is being used.
2. Do not have the right permissions and the Primary Admin or Admin user could log in and update this.
If you need further assistance with this we would call ProSeries Support.
we reached to Intuit and they section is gone and that is a disappointment as it makes it hard to see if a return was filed out not. A specific situation happened when a compauter crashed and this was the site we used to confirm if returns were filed or not.
I followed @Kathi_at_Intuit instructions and it works fine for me... I never used it before and IMO it's a pretty cumbersome process.... much easier to update acknowledgement status in the efile center
Hi @thetaxdoctor Thanks for the update. We checked on this and as @Skylane said the feature is still there. We think that your permissions for the site might be causing what you are seeing. We would have the Primary Admin for the firm sign in to MyAccount and check what your role is.
Ya I had someone else log in and they were able to see the efile status webpage
