Except for waiting on a zillion 8829's (every year a struggle) and of course the last minute disasters. Most difficult 04/15 tax season in my 43. Why, clients and portals. Each will be the end of me. Never thought about retirement before. My goal was to die at my desk. Then have a taxidermist stuff me and at the funeral home be put sitting at a desk with a computer and calculator just to freak everyone out. This year really got me thinking how much more I can take. In the end, only a minute part was ProSeries. One huge glitch a few days ago but otherwise the software ran as expected.
Best tax season yet! Still booked solid through tuesday and my extension list, on top of what I have already completed stands at about 320, plus an undisclosed number of returns that I have already completed. I should be busy through june, handling extensions, along with my other tasks.
I would be happy to read about other's success with their tax season, not mad to read about it.
Just hang in there with IronMan's words of wisdom and IronWoman ....the lady has patience after some of the things I have read over the years and you will make it.
You all make tax season so much easier. I feel BLESSED to feel like I know some of you and very THANKFUL for all the kindness.
There are some things I would like to say but sometimes I just overthink and it doesn't come out like I want so to those of you I hope you know who you are....Thank you and God Bless May the next few days go smooth and hopefully it will be with the "good group of understanding clients"
