Does 1099G box 6 grant issued in EIN not SSN go on sched1? I can't link it to schedule C which is where it should be.

Or should I just add it as other income on schedule c and  ignore 1099G?

Add as other income on Sch C.

The more I know, the more I don't know.

So then I am ignoring the 1099G. Will this cause future issues?

Not as long as the Sched C is reporting enough gross revenue to cover this additional business income. It's the same with 1099-NEC; you don't input and report them. You report All Business Revenue.

That grant was given to the person's business; not to them personally.
