Is there a quick way to convert a 2019 return set-up as a married joint to 2 seperate returns, as the couple divorced in 2019 and the file from 2018 transferred over to a married joint.

From Home Base highlight the client. Go to the File menu and select Split MFJ Return. This will create two returns as married separate. Go into each return and change to single, HOH, etc and clean up the data. Note, this will only work if you properly put in (T), (S), (J) initially. Be careful upon splitting any leftover joint items. Follow the rules and report nominee distributions if required.
