Where do you record a safe harbor contribution to a 401k?

Deductions-pension generally. If any is for sole proprietor or partner/LLC member that goes on 1040 (used to be page 1 adjustments to income-I don't know now)

are you asking about employee's contribution, or employer matching contribution

Thanks for your response. I found the answer on irs.gov, publication 7335, employee benefit plans, explanation #12, section 401K requirements.
