We have two clients with the same last name (divorced, filing separately) - and I e-filed one of the individual returns yesterday , it was accepted. Today, I look in ProSeries and the other individual shows as ALSO e-filed and accepted. This return is full of errors and there is no way it would have gone through the submission process successfully.. however now it won't let me even extend the return because it says the return has been accepted by the IRS. How and why did this happen? How do I resolve this?
From HomeBase, could you please select those two returns, sanitize the data, and send those sanitized data to proseries_engineering@intuit.com? Thanks!
