Can you edit client id numbers without going into each individual client?

Are you talking about the client file name ? If so you can change the file name from home base view by right clicking on file name, and rename whatever you like.

No, I'm talking about the client number that is on the client status sheet.

I don't use the client status sheet, but I would put my money on it not being able to be done without opening the client file.
