Can you report a Section 1031 exchange using ProSeries Basic?

Can I report a 1031 exchange using Basic, or do I need to transfer the return over to Professional?

I am sorry to ask - I cannot find the solution using the help function, and I am actually out of the office, waiting for a meeting, so I can't look at my Basic program - I wish there was a list of things Basic CANNOT do, and if there is such a list, I can't find it - if it's out there, can someone point me to it, and I will try not to ask so many dumb questions.

Haha, yes - I know - I am not at my desk, I am waiting in a doctor's office waiting for an appointment, and while waiting for the Dr, I was trying to use the PS website to see if there was actually a list of forms not supported by Basic. Respectfully, I understand that I can look on the program - my gripe is more that I cannot find an easily findable (by me at least), list of forms that would necessitate a migration over to PS Professional.

Yes you can but form 8824 will not be ready until the 17th, but it calculates.

Remind me to never try and navigate this site from my phone 🙂

I finally found the list of forms (I did not see that I had to change the view from "release date" to "form". I still feel like it should be a little easier to navigate.
