Can anyone tell me why when i try to save my return, i get an error code 131.

Does it save after showing the error? If not, can you do Save As and give it a new name?

Learn to set your auto recovery for a quicker time in Options and click F9-F10 a lot - seriously, a lot. Assume program will crash and you'll lose data so make this a habit to protect yourself.
