Can a filing of federal tax be canceled

i posted a federal return that had no figures in it and can it be canceled

Was the filing accepted?  If so, I'm not sure you can "cancel" it.  You may be able to supersede it by filing a "new" return by the due date.

Always leave the EF PIN Date open until youve got a signed 8879 in your hand, then you'll never accidently EF the wrong return.
