Amending Federal returns for Unemployment

I just saw a notice that the IRS will not be correcting and refunding returns that now make a taxpayer eligible for EIC and other credits they were not eligible for on the original return.

Those returns have to be amended and filed with the 8867 Due Diligence. 

Just one more layer of icing on the cake from Hell delivered in 2020.

Where is that notice? I did not know that but I was surprised they were going to be able to handle all that. Thank you.
