The 2023 Form CBT-100S includes a new check the box certification, on page 1 just above the taxpayer's signature, that the return signer includes copies of the federal return(s), forms and schedules in "XML" format with the NJ Return, otherwise the return will be incomplete. Does the program automatically include the required federal information in XML format when electronically filing the CBT-100S? It does not seem like a PDF copy is enough per the certification.
