1099-sa - Why is the software taxing HSA distributions? I check the box that says that it is all used for medical expenses. I am using ProSeries professional.
I input the 1099-SA, dist code 1, check the box for all used for medical expenses and check the HSA box (all the stuff I have done for years) but it still adds it as other income as well as calculates the 20% penalty.
