1099-G unemployment for USVI resident

I have a client who is a full-time resident of the US Virgin Islands. She received a 1099-G for unemployment income from the USVI. On the 1099-G worksheet, the state abbreviation is required and can't be overridden. There is no option other than the 50 states. Any suggestions?

Pick a state - any state - you have at least 50 to choose from.  At least that way it will flow properly to get the federal unemployment exemption.

Enter the unemployment on the Other Income Worksheet instead of on 1099G worksheet

But that won't compute the non-taxable exclusion of $10,200.

You could always make the UCE deduction entry yourself like we were doing before the software was updated for the unemployment exclusion.

That's what I decided to do. Thanks.
