Filter to search for returns filed with Form 5695

ProSeries did not flag errors on Form 5695 in February, and completely missed energy efficient home improvement credits for many of our clients. I contacted support to find out if I could run a report to find which of our clients' returns had been filed with Form 5695 so we can review them all, but was told that there is no way to search for returns filed with specific forms. Now, because ProSeries did not process these forms correctly at the time of e-filing, we will have to waste hours of our time (free of charge to our clients, might I add) going through hundreds of returns one-by-one to make sure that they were all processed correctly and our clients received the full refunds they were due and amending any that ProSeries did not process correctly. We are extremely frustrated by ProSeries's negligence in releasing forms before they were ready to file that is now going to cost us a lot of time.

If you were expecting your clients to get these credits, was this not noticed when the returns were reviewed for completeness before 1) giving to the client for review and 2) before efiling the returns?

Or are you saying the credits did show on the return, but the necessary info was not included by PS when the return was submitted to the IRS by PS.

There's a 'big' difference between these two scenarios.

I'm not sure why you would be looking through all of your returns rather than sorting homebase by the "last modified date" and then looking at returns completed in February.
