T/P died in 2021, his driver's license expired same year. Ohio requires license, spouse wants to e-file, ID verification does not recognize T/P deceased date. Can spouse still e-file joint?

That's a very narrow set of facts.  I'll shout out to my favorite TAXHO to see if she can help you. @TAXOH

I live in Ohio.  My client lives in Ohio.  Her husband died in 2021.  His driver's license expired in 2021. she wants to file electronically because of the delay in mailing in tax returns.  Since his license expired, their return will not pass the final review to transmit it.  The program does not recognize "deceased" on the information page, for the ID page.  Ohio requires driver's license or State ID to file. I cannot check the boxes for does not have or did not provide. How do I correct this problem?
