    Live chat with Proconnect Tax Online

    Hi,

    I tried to have a live chat via PTO Digital Assistant but it seems it has been disconnected.  Is that correct?

    Thanks for the update @The Real Halloween. Are you on Chrome? If so- try clearing cache and cookies. Launch the ProConnect Assistant again, if you get the same message, please take a screenshot and share it on this thread. Here's how you can Use Snipping Tool on Windows. Keep me updated!

    It seems so. I have been trying for a couple days and just get a perpetual "Connecting you to a Digital Assistant..." pop up. I'm not sure how to get assistance at this point.

    Edit: I called technical support and it looks like my browser (Safari) is not the best browser. They recommend Chrome.

    FYI, I am using Chrome and still cannot do a live chat.  May I know what number that you called and they have a person to talk to?  Thanks for your reply.

    In the beginning, live chat was the only support option for PTO as it was called then.


    The more I know the more I don’t know.

    Hi @The Real Halloween & @CAF1 Thanks for the report. It's working for me in Chrome at the moment. Can you try again? Be sure you're using chat during our Pacific Time Hours of operation in George's link above. Keep me updated.

    All of the ways, including the phone number were in the link I posted earlier. You should bookmark it so you can refer to it. I just connect via digital assistant.  The phone # and hours are in this link.

    I had the same problem. I followed your instructions to clear cache and relaunch. Here is the result:

    Clearing cache and cookies work but it did not remove previous chats.  Previous chats are still in the digital box assistant box.  Thank you.
