How do I deal with the CD that the name is truncated? These are existing clients for whom I prepared taxes in previous years without a problem.

Just ignore it. That critical diagnostic is just informational and won't interfere with e-filing.

Please give more info. What is a CD? You are asking other users and NOT support.
