    enter information onto a 1040 form directly

    New client and I want to input their 1040 for 2021 prepared by former tax preparer so that they can compare with the 2022 1040 I will prepare for them. Is there a way to go into 2021 and enter the information onto the 1040 directly instead of using the documents input method?

    I don't use ProConnect but I would bet cash money that the answer is no.

    You want the screen called Prior Year Summary under Other in the 2022 program.
