I am working on a return that has crypto transactions, individually entered on "Quick Entry: Dispositions (Schedule D, 4797, etc.)" which fill in form 8949 correctly and carry over to lines 3 and 10 of Schedule D.
On the same return, I want to enter brokerage 1099-B information onto lines 1a and 8a of the Schedule D. I cannot figure out how to do that. When I go to dispositions, I get the quick entry screen. I suppose I could enter each transaction from the 1099-B here, but is there a way I can easily enter the summary short term and long term information from the 1099-B such that it will populate lines 1a and 8a of Schedule D?

This will work. I use a line for each brokerage Short Term and another for Long Term. I use the negative dates to print as Various with a -01/01/2000 as purchase for LT and -01/01/2024 for ST. I highlighted to leave blank to make them go to 1a & 8a
