I did do that and the software does not allow it…
i checked off 591c corp/assoc 501c 5 and then association.
By not checking association, the software defaults it to corp.

Same issue in ProSeries. Menu is different. Tax Help states Check both the 501(c) Corporation/Association box and the 501(c) Association box and it will report properly on page one Form 990. But it gives you errors. Has been an issue for years. Was hoping an update would have fixed by now. Union clients giving me grief stating they are NOT a corporation. Also, difficulties with the banks.
