That is one of the most thought provoking posts ever to appear in an Intuit forum. Keep up the good work.
Probably related to a tax story in the New York Times today.
I have to go back and look through all of my clients' tax returns. Evidently I missed that tax law change that got everyone's tax liability down to $750. 🤔
I heard about a guy who sent in $4 or $5 million for extension requests. Turned out his tax wasn't that much but he still likes to claim he paid millions, because the refund was carried over to the following year. He didn't owe much tax but he did owe some AMT -- the story I heard, said it was close to nothing, but didn't mention a number.
But 4 or 5 million doesn't get you very far these days, not with the cost of haircuts being so high.
Yeah if I would have found a delete option ...oh well.
Hey I don't have a SoundCloud link for everyone to check out, but could use some assistance with an actual client situation. Thanks bigly!

Sorry, I’m not a Lacertian.
Ha! Lacertian
Consider yourself fortunate. A more accurate Intuit product name might be Laceration.
That has been used a few times, as well as calling the program Lacerate.
