Mississippi legislature has recently implemented changes to Electing Pass Through Entity credits effective for Tax Year 2022. Due to these changes, edits will be made to some forms as well as e-file schemas for Individual, Business, and Fiduciary filings.
Due to the timing, these changes will not be implemented in Lacerte until after the April 18th filing due date. Anyone wanting to take advantage of these changes will need to file an extension, or review any previously filed returns for amendment.
