Starting on the 4/26/23 update, Lacerte can automatically include form 114a in eSignature requests for certain filers. This enables you to quickly send the 114a for signature through 1-click or standard eSignature requests.
When will form 114a auto-attach?
Lacerte will automatically include this form in eSignature requests for individual clients where form 114a is part of the return if their filing status is Single, Head of Household, or Qualifying Surviving Spouse.
For Married Filing Joint returns, form 114a can't be automatically attached yet. You can still use the steps for Sending a request with additional documents to include the 114a in an eSignature for these clients.
