Updated tax forms in a timely manner

[2020 quote]

We are very concerned that Lacerte seems to be the software company to release forms and updates from IRS and NC.

We have spoken with many other CPA firms who use other tax software and they have had NC forms for 1-2 weeks already.

We understand NC forms are to be released on 2/22/22, but we need them now.  We have stacks for returns waiting for NC forms and we have many Farm returns that are due 3/1/22.  

Also, the IRS released form 7203 for S Corporations and this form is needed for many of our farm tax returns due 3/1/22.  Please release this before 3/1/22 as I was told by one of your support team members.  These returns will be rejected by the IRS when efiled if this form is not attached to the returns requiring this form to be attached.

We have been on many CPE classes where our associates across the country have complained about how Lacerte releases are much later that other tax softwares.  

Please advise if earlier releases are available.  We have been using Lacerte for over 25 years and it gets more frustrating every tax year.

We are aware that we are not the only ones who are complaining.  

Your support staff is great but they definitely can't fix the problem and should not have to deal with so many complaints due to lack of timely updates.
