I posed this question to Lacerte rep today and although I understand the secure "credit check" is from a third party it should match what the IRS allows for their tax return(Intuit commissions the 3rd party so can forward this to them in regards to the notification page...... unless it can't be a certain # of spaces-doesn't allow hyphenated names?
2.) A client noticed that in the security authorization page when she first received the docusign notification didn’t have her correct name as the tax return and tax forms to sign did. We assumed that it would pull from their name on the return, but for a client who wants their name hyphenated, on the questionnaire, she claimed it just used her married last name and not the hyphenated name…so not sure if that is grabbing from her Experian (or whatever Lacerte uses for their security check questions), but would like to know that information if/when that question comes up again. Something we can change or it is just where the data is being pulled from “outside”, that drives that correspondence name.
